Hi Andrzej,

How are you defining keyboard shortcuts? There is a set of pre defined keyboard shortcuts available and the Window's key is not one of them. You can read about them here: https://todoist.com/Help/viewHelp

Are you using our desktop app or the Web version?

What are you trying to accomplish with this shortcut?

Thanks,
Brendon.

I am talking about the Windows app of course. :-)
I would like to assign Win+T shortcut for quick adding a task (e.g. for Evernote I have Win+N for adding new note). Is it possible?

We don't have the ability to add your own shortcuts at the moment.

You can vote on this in our Votebox if you'd like: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/154/

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hello Andrzej,

It should indeed be possible to configure the keyboard shortcuts and I can confirm that the Win key can't be used. I will pass this issue to the developers, but please tell me - what version of Windows are you using?

Best regards,
David

Hello Andrzej,

In general, it's not recommended to use the Windows key as it's bound to many system-related functions, but we've made a new version of the app which should allow to use this key as a shortcut: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/0759b8fb4bef4073670fe318cb0c2b99/as/Todoist_for_Windows.RC.exe Please let us know if you experience any issues with it.

Best regards,
David

Hi,

it works perfectly. Thank you very much!
But is it possible to configure only 2-keys shortcuts instead of 3-keys? For example, I would like to assign Win+T for quick adding a task and now it's not possible (so I had to use CTRL+Win+T).

Best regards,
Andrzej

Andrzej,

It is possible to set 2-key shortcuts except for Win being one of them. Unfortunately, this is a special key overridden by the system in many cases and it may not be possible to allow Win+key as a global shortcut for our app, but you could use Ctrl+T or Alt+T.

Best regards,
David

OK. I thought that it is possible, because Evernote (for example) has the ability to set 2-key shortcuts (with Win key).
