Hi Bob,

At the moment there is actually more functionality in the Outlook add-on than there is with the iPhone app. The Outlook add-on resembles the web app for the most part.

We are in the process of re-doing our iOS apps with a much better interface. In the end things will be more closely the same on any platform.

You can easily install the Outlook add on without issue and test it out for yourself, and if it's not what you like you can remove it. There is no extra cost, and all the syncing is done with your account, so all you have to do is sign into the Outlook add on with the same account used with your iPhone and your set.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I have outlook for mac and it doesn't appear that I can download the Outlook version because it is not compatible with the mac platform? What is the time frame for the IOS updates? Can I attach email as a task in the iPhone premium version?
Thanks so much for the prompt response.
Thanks
Bob

Hi Bob,

No sorry, the Outlook add-on isn't available for the mac platform right now. You can vote on that in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/275/

In terms of a time frame, we do not like giving a time frame in case that we need more time. We concentrate on the best experience over pushing something out that might have problems.

Again, right now the iPhone app is limited, and the premium update to your account would not change this.

If you get Premium you can send/forward tasks without any add-on/apps as described on our blog. http://todoist.com/blog/2013/01/zero-inbox-policy-with-todoist/

The updates should hopefully be soon :)

Thanks,
Brendon.
