How to complete a group (e.g., tasks start with '*')

KM

Hi,

I use the option '*' to list a group of related tasks under a common group name (similar to project name, but not that important to be a project itself).

Now, I have completed all tasks under that group, however the task representing the group name is still there. Also, since that task starts with '*', I cannot mark it done.

Do I have to convert that task (which is used for the group name) to a normal task and check it to move all tasks to the completed section? Or am I missing an already existing feature?

Thanks,

Hi Klvanc,

Currently, for tasks such as that, with "*" in front of the name, you have three options for finishing them.

Option one is to edit it, and remove the "*" from the name and then check it off.

Option two is to delete the task from the "gear" settings area.

Option three is to choose "move to history" from the "gear" settings area.

We might consider adding a feature allowing to complete a task like that in the future. Your welcome to add the suggestion to our votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/
