Multiple Email notification received everyday

Hi,

I receive the daily update/digest email which is fantastic. however for some reason every day for the last two weeks, instead of receiving one email, I get the same one 4 times. Sent at same time, exactly same email.

I need a solution please as it is killing my inbox.

Hi Maz,

Could you please provide me with which email program you are using (if you are using one) (Outlook, Thunderbird...) and if possible, know if any settings have been changed recently, within the last 2 weeks since this started. I don't think it would be your program, but I would like to make sure.

If you head to the Todoist.com site, and at the top right corner hit the "gear" icon and go to your settings, click on "Account", choose "No, thanks" for the Daily Digest and close the window. Now go there again, and choose Yes and close.

Let me know if this fixes the issue or not.

Hi Brendon,

I am using outlook. I haven't changed any settings recently.

I have changed it from yes to no, and then back again, but will have to wait till tomorrow to see if it happens again.

funnily enough, i am getting multiples of the email notifications for this thread too.

Thank you for that bit of information. I will let the developers know about this and hopefully have it fixed soon.

Still let me know tomorrow if the email comes in multiple times.

How do i stop ToDoIst sending emails. It is spaming my inbox.

Hello Martin,

Thank you for contacting us. Please clarify - what kind of emails do you receive? You can opt out of receiving the Daily Digest email and the Newsletters by clicking on the gear icon in the top-right corner and going to Settings -> Account where you can choose to unsubscribe.

If you're receiving email reminders about tasks, please go to Settings -> Reminders and choose "no default reminder" from the drop-down menu otherwise, if email is selected, every task that has a due time will have a "30 minutes before" reminder attached to it.

To remove all currently set automatic reminders from tasks, right click on each task and go to the "Reminders" menu where you can remove them.

I'm having a similar issue -- for every reminder I set, I get 2 email notifications sent at the same time. Not a huge issue, but would be great if it could be fixed so I only get 1 reminder email.

Hi Chris,

How did you create these tasks, on a mobile app, through the web version, or the Outlook plugin like above? What was the exact syntax used to create the task?

Please try clearing the cache for your browser/IE, and if it's an app, try logging out and back in again.
