Why does Todoist crash my Safari?

SB

I cleared my safari cache and verified that I have the latest version of Safari. I also redirected my bookmark to go directly to todoist.com. Can you help? I can see my items on my iPhone app but not on my macbook pro browser. Thank you. Susan

Hello Susan,

Please try to go to todoist.com directly without using any bookmarks and let me know if the issue persists?

If it does, please tell me:
- Do you have any plugins in your browser? Try to disable them and see if it helps.
- How exactly does it crash? Do you see an error message? If so - what does it say?

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Thanks for your reply. In response to your questions:

1--I'm not sure how to disable browser plug-ins. It does seem that I have quite a few. Here's a link (hope it works):
file:///Applications/Safari.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/Plug-ins.html
2--There's no error message when it crashes. The safari window just disappears and then a box says it unexpectedly crashed and do I want to send a report to apple.

Susan,

Unfortunately the link can't work as it points to a local file on your computer. Please watch this short video to see how to disable extensions in Safari: http://www.woopid.com/video/2342/

After you disable all, if the issue will not persist, try to enable each one-by-one trying to access Todoist after enabling one to see which one is causing it.

Also, try to clear Safari's cache as described here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4448839?start=0&tstart=0

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Turning the extensions to OFF seemed to have worked! It looks like it was a Div Movie Enhancer that did it.

Thanks very much for your help.
