How do I upload a file?

HM

Three times I have tried to upload a file to a task: each time the progress bar has gone to 100% and then a tick has appeared. The only option I then have is the "close modal" X - but when I click on that, there is no link visible to the file in the note (as shown on your Help page).

What am I missing?

Hello Hamish,

Please tell me - how are you accessing Todoist? Through the web? On what browser? Through our plugins?

We're aware of such issue in our Chrome extension which unfortunately, can't be fixed due to Chrome limitations reg. uploading files through an extension.

Best regards,
David

If this functionality doesn't work in the Chrome extension, why is it visible in the Chrome extension???

Hamish,

Across all our plugins, we use the Todoist "mini" site: http://todoist.com?mini=1 and the Chrome extension also connects to it and therefore all plugins show the upload option.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, we hope Chrome will allow file uploading through extensions in future updates. For now, please go to todoist.com in order to add a file to a task note.

Best regards,
David
