Custome Query

I like a 30 day custom query, is it possible to collapse the tasks under a date so you only see the date bar until such time that you want to view the tasks for that date?

Also - is it possible to view on the android app the custom query set up via IE 10 on my computer? For instance, I only see Today or 7 Days on the android app and I would like to view my 30 day custom query on the android app.

Hello Will,

To search for the next 30 days, simply type "30 days" to the search box in the top-left corner of the web-app. On Android, you can save such filter.

On both Android and the web, you can set this as your default start page:
- on the web in Settings -> General, choosing "Custom query" from the "Start page" drop-down menu,
- on Android by tapping on the 3-dot icon in the top-right corner and going to the Settings.

It's not possible to collapse tasks under a date right now, but we may consider adding such feature in the future and you're welcome to add a request to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

Thank you.... but on the 30 day query can I get daily headers like with the default 7 day view?

Will,

Yes, every date view will show you a header stating the day/date of the tasks and show tasks below them. You can try it with any custom query from "1 day" to "30 days".

I am not getting the day/date header with my custome 30 days querry. All the task entries just run continuosly with only each tasks date marker to distinguish. Did I miss something?

Hi Will,

At the current moment our Android app does not show the headers on custom queries. We will work to add this to the app but do not have a time frame for it.

Thanks,
Brendon.
