Automatic logs into wrong account
This AM, todoist logs me into an account which I can't get rid of. It's totally blank. All my todos seemed lost. I'm running under Google Chrome.
I was able to log into correct account, and see my todo's on Mozilla. But todoist always logs me into this mystery blank account in Chrome.
I can't delete this account because I don't know the password. So I'd like you to delete this for me...so I can use the account that actually has data.
Do you have a Gmail account attached to your Chrome? Just click the Menu button, and it should say "Signed In As ...."
We have the ability to log into Todoist through Google Authentication (your gmail account). I believe it could have been possible that since your Chrome was logged in, that Todoist automatically signed in with that address.
All you have to do though, is go to Todoist in Chrome, and at the top right corner, hit the settings button, and hit Logout.
Then you will be able to log into the correct account.
More on problem: when I go to todoist.com it automatically adds 'app?v=101#start' to the URL and pulls me into the wrong account. There is no option for logging into the correct account. I want to delete this account.
I do have a gmail account. On the google menu (3 bars), it asks if I want to sign into the gmail account. So I don't think that I'm signed into the account.
When you go to Todoist.com, do you see the setting button at the top right corner? This will give the option to Logout.
Please confirm if you see that menu, and are able to log out.

Anyway to get rid of the other account? I don't have the password.
I was trying to change my email account, and by mistake set up a new account (login with gmail or something like that).
Glad that fixed it.
If you would like to delete that account please follow these instructions.
-Please log into the account you want to delete. (Might need to use the Google Authentication, if that is how that account was created). Go to Settings, Account, and click the "Edit" in the "Password" section, set a password and then use the newly created password to confirm the deletion.
