can't attach files in windows app or outlook plug in

I'm unable to attach files from the Outlook plug-in or Windows apps. I get a popup box that says "Upload files, documents or images". When I get to this point either in the Firefox plug-in or web interface, I get a dotted-outlined box that I can drag and drop files into. In the Windows app and Outlook plug-ins I don't get this box; instead I get a button that says "Choose File" but it doesn't do anything when i click on it.

Hello Jim,

Thank you for your report, I've been able to reproduce this issue and I've passed it to the developers. We'll address this issue soon in the next update.

For now, as a workaround, please attach files using our web-app at todoist.com Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please try to install the updated version of our app: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/46df05282d620e14d9ddd8a60d813dad/as/Todoist_for_Windows.RC.exe it should fix this issue.

Hi this fixed the issue in the windows app, but it's still not working for me in the outlook app, is there a separate update for that?

HI All,

Not sure if you are aware but this is still an issue in the latest version for both the outlook plug in (Using 2013) and also the desktop Application in Windows 8.1

I am not able to attach a file in either version.

Yes, we're aware of this issue and we're still working on the rewrite of our Outlook app which should address this and other issues. Sorry for the inconvenience.
