Sort order of Projects not persistant?

RM

(Web app)

When I click the Gear icon and select 'Sort by date', the Tasks DO get sorted by date, but if I then add additional tasks, the task listing does not re-sort, even if I close the browser (Chrome) and open a new session (I've not tried logging out and logging back in).

Hello Randolph,

Please tell me:
- When you add a new task, use Ctrl+F5 to force-reload the page and then use "Sort by date", does it work?
- Does it work when you sort by priority and then again by date?

Also, please tell me - what version of Chrome are you using?

Best regards,
David

As always, please don't hesitate to contact if you have any additional questions.

I have the same issue (sorting not being persistent). If I reload the page, the sort directive does not persist. The version of Chrome I am running is Version 30.0.1599.101.

Same issue here. Newly added items aren't correctly sorted.

Same issue. Although I press F5 every morning, recently added tasks are at the bottom of the project view, although I asked for a sort by date a few days ago.

Hello Dominique,

Please note that the "Sort by date" option is not a switch, it's a one-use button to reorder the tasks that are on your list now by date, not to permanently push tasks as you add them based on their date to different places.

That said, you can always use the "s" key to sort them by date within a project anytime.

Best regards,
David
