Completed List Spacing (v98)

TH

Each task listed in the completed list view has an extra row / space for notes whether there are any or not. This gives the effect of spacing out all the tasks. I can only see about 10-11 on a Full HD screen!

David,

I just sent three screen shots to you, along with my thoughts on what might be causing the 'extra space' ...

Hello Randolph,

Thank you for the screenshots, but unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue. This is not how it should look like, the note icon is, as it was before, on the right side of the task and not below the label.

Please log out of Todoist, clear your browser's cache and app data, reload the browser and log back in and if the issue persists, please tell me:
- What browser are you using?
- Can you reproduce this in another browser (if so - which one)?

Best regards,
David

David,

The screenshots were generated in Chrome. After logging out and the cache and app data cleared and logging back in, the spacing remains as in the screenshot. That spacing also appears in both IE8 and in Firefox (portable) 19.02

Randolph,

Unfortunately, we don't see this in Chrome, Firefox or IE.

Please tell me:
- What version of Chrome are you using?
- Did you manually remove todoist.com from the list in Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data (some of the app cache will not be removed upon automatic cache clearing)?
- Do you access Todoist directly through https://todoist.com and not through a bookmark which may point to an early version number in the URL?

Best regards,
David

David,

Chrome: Version 26.0.1410.43 m
Yes, manually removed all cookies and site data
Yes, used the Login link at https://todoist.com (my address bar shows https://todoist.com/app?v=98#completed)

Using Windows XP Pro ...

Unfortunately, this 'extra spacing' (with the TAG below the Task) is what I see in all three browsers.

Randolph,

We can't reproduce this under any circumstances. We've tried multiple Todoist accounts with different combinations of tasks with labels an notes, newly added notes, removed notes - same with labels and we've used:

Windows XP Pro with
- Firefox 19.0.2
- Firefox 20
- Internet Explorer 8
- Chome 26.0.1410.43 m

Windows 8 with
- Firefox 19.0.2
- Firefox 20
- Internet Explorer 8
- Chome 26.0.1410.43 m

And not once was a task note icon shown as you see it on your screenshots.

Please clarify, you've said "manually removed all cookies and site data", did you manually remove only Todois's cache as described above? Any automatic cache or cookie clearing will leave certain offline data in the browser.

Also, are you using any plugins in your browser and does this issue persist when you access Todoist's mini site through this URL: https://todoist.com/app?mini=1 ?

David

David,

Four new screenshots sent.

Yes, I followed your instructions for cookie and site data removal from Chrome's cache to the letter.

Just to reiterate, this icon layout onlys appear when viewing the Completed Tasks, not when viewing the normal Task view (as the screenshots confirm).

Best regards,

Randy,

Thank you very much for clarifying, I can reproduce this now in any browsers in the "# Completed" tasks view. Sorry for the misunderstanding. We'll look into it right now.

Best regards,
David
