Why are labels now displayed on a separate line after the task text?

DW

Format makes tasks much more difficult to read (used to organize list by leading label) and increases the size of the task list (tasks used to appear on on line).

If you could address would be grateful.

Hello Dennis,

Right now every task is aligned to the left so you can clearly see task names all starting in one place regardless of how long the names of their labels are. Nonetheless, you're welcome to vote for this request to change this display: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/837/ and we will consider changing it in the future.

Best regards,
David

The new format is terrible. What a waste of space. Why do the labels need to be displayed in a separate line?

I actually like the new method, it was too confusing to the eye before.
Even with the new change Todoist still display more entries in one page than any other service I know.

Perhaps you can have it for the user to decide in settings?

What I am bothered more is why the labels are still displayed by count/amount! It is obvious to everyone that this need to change, and was suggest many many times on this support forum, yet...

I recently got back to try and use Todoist again, and this has reminded me of one of the reasons I stopped... :-(
Labels by count and not by ABC (or manual) really goes against the productivity of users... (at least that's the impression I go here in this forum)

Any roadmap for when this will be sorted already?

Hello Tomer,

Thank you for your feedback. Regarding label list sorting - unfortunately, we can't give you any timeframe when this will be implemented, but we'll surely consider adding such option in the future.

Best regards,
David
