OutlookToDoist Add-In

When I go to COM Add-Ins & check box for Outlooktodoist, I get the error message "Not loaded. The Managed Add-in Loader failed to initialize".

What might be the issue?

Suggestions appreciated.

Hello Jason,

Please tell me - when did you download the Outlook plugin? We've published an update a couple of days ago and it's available for download here: http://todoist.com/outlook

If you've installed it very recently, please tell me:
- What version of Outlook are you using?
- Do you have the latest version of Internet Explorer installed on your system (the plugin uses IE to connect)?

I just went through a bunch of updates but still having the same problem. Uninstalled & reinstalled the app.

MS Office Outlook 2007
MS Internet Explorer 10.0.9

Hello,

We're working on a fix, but please clarify - you uninstall the old Outlook plugin through your system's Control Panel (it's listed as "OutlookTodoist" there) while Outlook is closed, then reinstall the latest version from http://todoist.com/outlook and you don't see the Todoist plugin pane in Outlook and upon attempting to activate it, you see this error message and can't activate it at all?

That is correct. I just tried again, making sure to follow the instructions you listed. Still not resolved.

Although so far we weren't able to reproduce this issue, we've made a new version of our plugin with a built-in error reporting system. Please download and install it from this location: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/6d48d3aaeb65b9bca3dc3068008d08ec/as/OutlookTodoist.RC.exe and if you'll see any error during installation or activation of the plugins, please agree to send an error report to us.

I tried to uninstall and re-install the plug-in but didn't work. Do you have some recommendation how to do this process?

Hello Camillo,

Please clarify what issue did you experience exactly and at what point of the installation?

Did you manage to uninstall the old plugin through your system's Control Panel -> Programs and Features menu (it's listed as "OutlookTodoist")? Could you then install the new plugin? Please note that the new version from the link above does not fix the issue, but includes an error reporting mechanism so we can identify what's causing it.

I Closed my Outlook; uninstalled the old version in the Controle Panel; installed the new Version without errors; open my outlook and still is not showing the Todoist panel.

I try to activate the todoist using the suplement center of my outlook; still not working!

We're very sorry for the inconvenience, this version did not include a fix for this issue, but an error reporting system that will help us identify and fix it. Once we do, we'll release an update as soon as we can and we'll notify you about it.

I am having the same problem installing todoist on outlook 2013
