search function is not finding tasks in todoist

J

hi there

the search function has stopped finding tasks in todoist today, and while it finds some, it is not finding others we know are entered. As we do not remember which projects they are under it is making it very difficult to find our tasks and clients. Can you help. We have double checked that everything is spelt correctly. I have tested it on a task i can see with a persons name and when i enter their name to search it comes telling me it cannot be found eg it will find brown, but not sylvia which is typed in the same task
Regards
julie

thank you for your reply. i hope it will be fixed soon - we cant find any of our customers - this makes me think now a paper system is a definite plus, as we can't afford notto send our clients products and followup their phone calls and we do not know which of the 30 tasks they are in. also we are unable to update them when they call and this is also making a huge muckup for us trying to keep telephone notes somewhere on paper and not with their computer file.
other than that we are loving todoist -
cheers
julie

It does appear to be working now. Thanks. Like Julie, this was a major inconvenience, particularly to experience with a short time of opting for premium! Overall I find it a very good tool, but reliability is key!!

I am having this issue now. Am I doing something wrong?

It is just "q: searchterm" right?

Hello,

the problem is still there. What I do is:

1. I search for "no date". I get a list of tasks with no due date
2. I copy & paste one word out of one task into the search field with a "q:" in front of it
3. The task does NOT show up

It SEEMS that the search works on completed tasks. At least on some. I don't know how to list all completed tasks, so I can't check that to make sure.
