Outlook 2013 - Loss of Delete and Backspace

BS

Hello -

Love the product.

I am making the move from FireFox/Gmail/todoist to Outlook Professional Plus 2013 32-bit and have observed that once I resize the todoist panel width, I loose the ability to use the delete or backspace key - I believe all the other keys work.

Prior to resizing the todoist panel, text can be entered and the delete / backspace keys work. (I resize because the default width clips the input panel so some entered text is not visible.)

After resizing and loosing use the backspace and delete key, undocking the todoist panel (floating on top of Outlook) use of those keys return. Redocking the todoist panel returns use of the keys while docked, but the panel is too narrow / obscures the new task entry pop-up. Then widening/narrowing the window loses the delete / backspace functionality.

I have removed all other add-ins on this Fresh 2013 install to see whether there might be a conflict there.

No urgency, just a peculiar item. If you have any insight on what I might do so I can have both a non-default panel width and use of the delete and backspace key.

Thank You,

Hello Brent,

This behavior is caused by a bug in our software. We're sorry for the inconvenience, it will be addressed in the upcoming update which we'll publish very soon.

For now, please try to uninstall our Outlook plugin (it's listed as "OutlookTodoist" in the Programs and Features list in the Control Panel) and then install this version: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/18dd6b9fb4508bfdd09fc8fb17464c91/as/OutlookTodoist.RC.zip which is a pre-release build where this issue has been fixed.

Best regards,
David

Thanks much, that seems to do the trick!
