html in emails

When I forward an email to ToDoIst, it is very difficult to read, because the html formatting is not rendered in ToDoIst notes nor is it stripped out so I just see the plain text.

I can try forwarding it as a plain text file. I would love to see this stripping done automatically.

Hello Nancy,

Thank you for your feedback, I have passed it to the developers and we will try to address this issue in future updates.

I am having some cases where the note is completely missing on emails I forwarded. They appear to be HTML based in the original email. Not having a note from a forwarded email means I have to go find a deleted email to see what it said.

So it's not every email you forward? What is different about these emails, are there files in the notes area, anything special?

Let me see if I can get more specific information on the type of emails causing the issue.

David or Brandon,

Here is a sample of an email that came through with no details on my task when I mailed it to my Inbox. It turns out the behavior is different depending on the device (OS). I did a fair amount of testing today to hopefully provide some help:

1. On Mac OS 10.9.2 (Mail 7.2) using Gmail or iCloud - The task appears with some plain text rendering of the original message. All hyperlinks are lost. Here is a sample of the task note:

The note example was not listed. Please try emailing us, brendon@doist.io, david@doist.io, and clyde@doist.io.

And to be clear, an email without any HTML gets sent without issue?
