find completed tasks by labels

BB

There was a question about searching completed tasks, but it suggested using a facility that seems no longer available. I got premier because I wanted to be able to do this, but I cannot figure out how to search for completed tasks by label. If that will not work what is the appropriate way to do the search?

Hello Bob,

To view completed tasks by label, please click on the "# Completed" link in the top-right corner and you'll see a full history of all completed tasks where you can select any specific label from one of the three drop-down filters.

Best regards,
David

Hello David,
I have the same problem. I have @feedback label and there is a completed task.
When I search for feedback word, I can see this task. However, when I click the label feedback, it does not work. Can you help with that?
It is not convenient to type the name of the label in search when you can click on the label.

Thanks,

Hello Erdem,

If you click on the label "feedback", you won't be able to view completed tasks on this list. Same applies when you search for @feedback.

That said, to view completed tasks with this label, please click on the Karma score in the top-right corner, then go to "View All Completed" and use the label drop-down menu to select the "feedback" label.

Best regards,
David

Hello David,

When I try to lookup completed tasks by label via the Karma menu nothing shows when selecting a label. Is this a known issue or is it something i'm doing wrong??

Awaiting your answer
Best Regards

Tim

Tim,

Does nothing show at all or do you see this message? "No completed tasks matches your filter." As that would mean there are no completed tasks with that filter.

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon.

The message "No completed tasks matches your filter" shows up. But there are several tasks with the labels I specify so there should be some completed tasks to display.

Regards
Tim

Hello Tim,

Please tell me - are you sure that these tasks were completed within the last 2 weeks? If not, please check that the time-related filter is set to more than "2 weeks ago" and that there is no other active filter, such as a project filter, for example.

These will combine so if you choose a project from the drop-down menu and then a label, it will search for tasks completed with this label AND in this project.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Yes the tasks are completed within the last two weeks and no additional filters are selected. Is there a way to upload screenshots? then you can see what I see :)

Best regards,
Tim

Tim,

Please try this:
- Create a test task with a certain label
- Complete it
- Go to the View All Complete list and filter for this label.

If you still don't see it, please send us a screenshot to david@doist.io and brendon@doist.io

Best regards,
David
