more colors?

JB

Hi,
I have quite a lot of different projects, but I'm out of colors! Is it possible to add some more colors to indicate different projects? Eg pink vs purple (:

Hello Jana,

With Todoist Premium, you can use 22 colors for projects and 13 colors for labels. Feel free to subscribe - it's less than $2.50 per month :)

Best regards,

22 is still pretty limited...

I absolutely agree! I wouldn't think it'd be that difficult to allow for a user inputted color (like in Google docs, Microsoft One Drive) that allows for the user to select virtually any color in the spectrum.

In trying to keep up with the GTD method, it's important to categorize tasks & projects & being limited by 1-2 colors that coordinate for a certain project kinda stinks. If a project has many sub tasks with varying levels of priority, it'd be very helpful for the user to assign colors of their own choosing.

I picked Todoist Premium for the complex time mgt capabilities, but find that I can't really use the color coding method because of the very limited spectrum that would leave me re-using colors for multiple ongoing projects or not being able to assign priority...both of which are counter productive to the purpose of this app.

So, please consider helping users out by allowing for an unlimited choices with colors (or at the very least - a greatly expanded palette). I thing this is Todoists one major downfall at present & even has even caused me to look at other task mgt software. Thank you very much!

I agree with Leila. I just upgraded to Premium because I watched one of your videos which shows 13 color options to choose from for "Labels" and "Filters", but with my iMac desktop app, there are only 8 color options. Also, when I designated colors to the priority levels under "Filters" the colors did not update or change. They remain the default colors I think. I have the Mac desktop app installed along with the Google Chrome extension, Todoist: To-Do list and Task Manager 6.3. I also have the Todoist Gmail extension installed. Not sure if there is a conflict here?

I would really appreciate the ability to select my own colors for labels and filters as I already have a personalized system I have been using for years with Gmail labels and would love to just stick with that system as opposed to mixing the two. (How could orange not be one of the color options?)

I also agree. And I would prefer more color for "labels" too. Maybe allowing custom colors would be a solution.

Cheers.
