Entered Dates Keep Changing
The dates for what I enter for my task keeps changing.
If I enter "Every Tuesday" it keeps switching to Wednesday, if it's Wednesday it changes to Thursday and so forth.
I keep changing it back but it keeps going to the wrong day. This is quite a stupid problem that makes your service un-usable. What is going on?
Also, your Chrome Extension never works either, the little number that states how many you have to do, always shows 0.
Please tell me:
- What time zone are you in currently?
- Is it the same time zone as you have selected in Todoist's Settings and on your computer?
- Have you ever traveled between time zones recently and added or edited any tasks while being in a different zone?
Regarding the Chrome extension - do you have 0 overdue tasks or tasks due 2 days from now?
I just checked the settings and my timezone were not correct, but I did change it before, it changed back to the wrong one.
If I click on the extension, and see all my tasks, it will then show the amount of tasks due today. After a few minutes, it will go back to 0. These are all tasks due the day of.
Thank you for this information. Please make sure you now have the correct time zone selected (and the correct time and timezone settings on your computer) and we will try to address this issue by running a script which should fix the due dates on your account.

Yes they are.
Though the problem with the Chrome extension showing 0 until clicked on has now changed.
It's showing more then what it should, for example I have 8 to do right now, it's showing 24 until I click on it.
Please try to clear Todoist's cache/storage by going to Chrome's Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and app data and removing todoist.com from this list. Let me know if the issue persists afterwards.
There is no option for All Cookies & App Data, and the only option related to app data would remove all the data from all my apps installed, which I do not want to do.
I cleared the cache and it didn't help.
When you click on the "Content Settings" button when using the "Show advanced settings" link, a popup will appear and in the top "Cookies" section below a couple of selections, there are two buttons one of which says "All cookies and site data". When you click on it, you can use a search bot there - search for "todoist" and remove it from the list and let me know if the issue persists.
That seems to have fixed it.

Hi. I'm also having the same issue...all of my dates keep getting pushed forward a day - across the board. I'm using Firefox and wasn't able to use these instructions to try to fix the bug.

Please tell me:

I'm in PST - which is consistent across ToDoIst settings and my computer settings.
I have a similar problem.
Since Todoist has been updated to support french, everytime I type a time for a due date or a recurring date, it seems the system does not understand the time I am typing...
For example, if I type "ev tue, thu @ 08:30", the system will translate it as "tous les mardi, jeudi à 8 : 30"...
BUT, the actual reminder will only triggers on tuesdays at 8am !!!
Could you please help me ?
It used to work as a charm before french support...

You can use French due dates on the French version of our app.
We will try to reproduce this issue, but for now, as a workaround, please try to set an absolute reminder with the due date "ev tue, thu @ 08:30" by typing:
<remind ev tue, thu @ 08:30>
within the task name.
The due dates on your account should be fixed now.
