Postpone on Recurring Task not working.

JW

If I have a task setup to recur "every 1" for the first of the month. If I postpone the current one, the next month it will schedule it for the postponed date instead of the first.

For example this month I have several that were "every 1" scheduled for the 1st of this month. I postponed them and they got the date of Feb 4. When I completed them the next date shows March 4 instead of March 1.

Hello Johnathon,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. Postponing or completing tasks with the "every 1" formula always seems to push the date to the first day of the next month(s).

Please tell me:
- What version number of Todoist do you see in the URL (the current one is v=90)?
- Does clearing the cache and Todoist's offline data solve this issue?
- Can you reproduce it in at least one different browser (which browsers did you use)?

If none of this helps, please tell me - how exactly are you postponing this task, by dragging and dropping it on the 7 days view, by right-clicking on it, by multi-selecting other tasks?

Best regards,
David

Ok I see what I did.

I had overdue events that were "every 1" for February 1. I right clicked and choose "do today". When I complete the task it is now scheduled for March 5. However when you edit it, it shows "every 1" in the date field.

Johnathon,

Thank you very much for this information, I've been able to reproduce this issue now and I've passed it to the developers. We will address this issue soon.

Best regards,
David
