Overdue Tasks Not Showing

MB

Discovered today that a whole bunch of overdue tasks have not been showing in the "7 days, overdue" or "Today" views. I can only see them by going into each project individually. Some of these tasks were overdue by a week but not showing. Disappointed I can't trust the app to keep me on track I have three Premium accounts.

How come? Is this an ongoing issue? Do I need to go through all my tasks in each project every day to make sure I don't have overdue tasks that aren't showing in my Today and 7 day views?

I also discovered that overdue tasks don't appear on the iPad app, so I was missing them there to. Awesome. Back to Excel spreadsheets for task management?

Hello,

Please tell me:
- Does logging out, clearing the browser's cache, reloading it and logging back in solves this issue?
- If not, what browser are you using?
- Is there anything special about the missing overdue tasks, for example - do they have any special characters in their names, an asterisk * in front of the name, are they all on a certain indent level, with a certain due date format etc.?

Best regards,
David

I've had this problem on 2 of my 3 Todoist accounts. It happens on both Firefox and Chrome and I don't see anything special about the tasks. Found some more overdue tasks today that weren't showing up.
Clearing the cache and logging back in did not bring the overdue tasks back.

Ok.... here's what's going on. I just noticed those missing overdue tasks that were due in January were magically due in January 2014.

When I change the task to be due for January 2013 and click save, it goes back to 2014 again. Why?

Hello Mike,

Please tell me - what exact due date do you see on this task displayed when it's saved, what due date is typed into the due date field and what new date did you set for this task?

Best regards,
David

Originally, it said Jan 18 2014. So first I selected 2013 from the drop-down, and then click on the date Jan 25 on the calendar, but when I clicked Save, it switched to Jan 25 1014. I was only able to correct it was to type Today in the date field. Not sure how several tasks all ended up being due in January of 2014 in the first place.

Mike,

The behaviour you've described is typical when trying to pick a date from the past using the calendar. If you would choose "23 Jan", the task would indeed be set to 23 Jan 2014. You can correct this by typing 25 Jan 2013 manually to the date field, but please tell me - what time zone are you currently in and what time zone is set on your computer?

Best regards,
David

I'm in Atlantic time zone and my laptop is set to Atlantic time. I had the same problem on the ContactNB account which I've never accessed from this laptop.

I've got all the tasks fixed now, I'll let you know if it happens again.
