Monthly Recurring Tasks Entry

SM

What is the syntax to enter a recurring task twice a month. I would like to have the task on the 1st and 15th of the month. Can I enter this as one recurring task? Or, is it two entries one on the 1st and the other on the 15th?

Hello Scott,

Unfortunately, it's not possible right now to set up one task with such date formula. Please create two tasks, one due "ev 1" and the other "ev 15".

We will consider adding more complex recurrence syntax in the future and you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/22/

Best regards,
David

Thanks David. Happy New Year! I wasn't expecting a reply until tomorrow.

When will this be added? I have so many things I do twice a month and it makes my list look twice as big.

Hello Michael,

Unfortunately, we can't give you any specific timeframe when we will add support for such date format. For now, you can indeed create two tasks with the same name - one to one date and the other to the second.

Best regards,
David
