Having trouble opening Todoist App for Mac OS

BM

I've downloaded the new Mac OS app from the todoist website but Safari will not open it, nor can I find another way to open/install the app. I'm currently using Safari v5.1.7 and Mac OS X v10.6.8. Does anyone have any troubleshooting ideas?

Hello Bob,

Please go to this location: http://todoist.com/mac and if clicking on the orange "Get the app - its free" button doesn't initiate the download of the ZIP file, please Control+click on it and then save it locally on your computer. Unzip it and then run the installer.

Best regards,
David

is there a work around to open Todoist App for Mac OS without upgrading to OS X v10.7? I have 10.6.8. Thanks! This would be the only application requiring an upgrade, so I want to factor that in before upgrading to use your product. Thanks! Love your work!

Hello Ryan,

The current version of the Mac app can't be used with Mac OS 10.6.8m but you could use the older version: http://files.wedoist.com/dbb88e0cacd358c4bb31da36b438475a/as/TodoistApp.zip however it's no longer supported by us and won't be updated.

Also, please note that it's identical as the web-app and you can use Todoist through your browser anytime.

Best regards,
David
