Receiving push alert to iPhone for reminder after task is completed

BP

I'm still receiving push alerts for a reminder on a task that I completed earlier today. The reminder shouldn't be going off anymore. Suggestions? Ideas?

Hello Bradley,

Please tell me:
- What's the exact due date of this task?
- What reminders are set for it (you can check this by right-clicking on the task on the web-app and choosing "Reminders")?

Best regards,
David

It was due today at 1:00 PM.
The reminder that was set was for 30 minutes before the due date. I've since removed the reminders and still getting the push alerts.

Bradley,

Please clarify - you've removed the reminders from this particular task or did you set the default reminders (in the Settings) to "no default"?

Also, is "today at 1:00 pm" the date you've typed into the due date field or was this task only due for today, but it's a recurring task (such as "every day")?

Best regards,
David

Default reminders have been off. I removed the reminder from this task.

It is a recurring task with a due date of "Ev wed at 1:00 PM".

I have the same issue. My task (1) Did not have reminders (2) I marked it completed (3) I ALSO DELETED IT!

I still get notifications on my iPhone.

Hi James,

Make sure you update to the latest version of our app from the App Store. Please try logging out of the app, and then back in again.

A uninstall, and reinstall could help as well.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I'm having a similar problem. A task I marked as complete this morning has been pushing reminders at me all day!

Hello Martin,

Please try to delete our iOS app, log into your Todoist account at https://todoist.com go to Settings -> Reminders, remove your iOS device from the list there, reboot your phone/tablet, reinstall the app and see if it helps.

If not, enter the project in which the task was completed (through the web-app), click on the circle in the bottom-right corner to view completed tasks, un-complete it, check if it still has a reminder attached to it, if so - remove it, complete it and let us know if the issue still persists.

Best regards,
David
