I have tried to personalize my Start page, but I could not edit and save the Custom query option in the Settings section. Is this funcionality working properly at this moment?
Thank you very much for your report, there seems to be an issue with this feature right now (selecting "Custom query" should normally allow you to type in a query and save it).
I have passed it to the developers and we will fix this issue as soon as we can. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This is a basic piece of functionality that really needs to be fixed
This issue has now been fixed, you can use custom queries as the default view and define the query in Settings -> General.

it still isn't working, two years later. No matter what I do it will not save it, whether on the desktop app or directly on the website.
Please try signing out of your account, clear the cache for your browser and back in, it was fixed long ago, and no other reports. It's possible there is a new issue though.

There is not, though we post in Todoist.com/blog from time to time and I believe there has been posts about this. Todoist.com/help is the best place which we do hope to improve with a FAQ.
