MS Outook for MAC

G

Hi, Is there an outlook app to use on MS Outlook for Mac. The version on your download site appears to only work with Windows outlook.

Thanks
Grant

Hello Grant,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to use our Outlook plugin on the Mac version of Outlook right now, but we may consider developing a Outlook for Mac plugin in the future.

You're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/275/

Best regards,

I want to vote for this, but the votebox is closed. Just FYI! I use Outlook for work, but I have a Mac.

I would like this too, any plugin being developed now perhaps?

you have been saying that you are thinking of this for 2 years. There are a lot of us Mac Outlook users out there. Any chance of moving this up in your priorities?
Any way of knowing what your priorities are? I have been doing a bunch of Task Managing workshops with faculty and I recommend your product but it would be nice to know if and when these things may become available as I get asked a lot.

Petra,

We never plan adding new features in advance, at least not for a long time, in order to stay flexible. We add a few and then decide what next. Most of the times, we can't reveal what exactly will be published next due to some embargos.

As for the Outlook plugin - technically, Microsoft doesn't support plugins in the Mac version of Outlook, but there are workarounds with AppleScript to somehow add them and we are looking into it and will (hopefully soon) update the Mac app which will then be able to add emails as tasks. If we could to this for all email clients on a Mac at once, we'd prefer to do so.

David
