Outlook add-in not working for other User Accounts
My todoist add-in is working very well in the Admin Account on my computer, but when I switch to the other user account, it doesn't show at all. It doesn't show in the add-remove programs, but when i try to reinstall it from the installer, it says it is already installed. Please help, todoist is my life line!
Unfortunately, it's not possible to install our Outlook plugin for all user accounts right now, but we will address this issue in the next update.
For now, as a workaround, if you want to see your Todoist tasks while using Todoist, you can open a browser window next to Outlook and go directly to http://todoist.com/?mini=1 which will connect with the same page the Outlook plugin uses.
If you're primarily using it for managing your emails, though, you could try to use the "Send tasks via email" feature instead. This feature doesn't require the plugin as it enables you to forward any message to your Todoist project and converts the subject of the message to the task name and the content to a task note.
For more information about this feature, enter any project, click on the gear icon at the top of your task list (the one that's displayed in the header showing the name of the project you're in) and choose "Email tasks to this project" from the drop-down menu.
