In settings you can to test Push notifications and reminders work.
However, the task list can not choose the type of reminder "Push notifications" (only email and phone) although the default setting is "Push notifications", then how to use them?
Have the same problem. Push selected by default but email is the only option when setting a remainder.
Mobile push reminders only work when the device is online. That's not enough. Will they work offline? (except Jelly Bean notifitsations that promise, because my device only supports 4.0.1)
Right now, a push notification will work whenever you add a task with a specific due time (for example: tomorrow at 2pm) in which case a "30 minutes before" push notification will be set.
To add a specific notification, type: <remind tomorrow at 2pm> (for example) within a task name through the mobile app.
I will pass your question about the online/offline work of these notifications to the developers.
It would be really useful if any kind of notification could be set from any of my devices running todoisy.
For example I'm running Mac, iOS (iPhone), Windows, Web, Chrome extension & Android tablet.
I cannot select 'push' as a notification option on anything other than the iPhone.
Yes I have push set as default but the '30 minutes before' is not good for me - 30 minutes is exactly the amount of time I need to forget I had to do something!
I would want to be able to set 'push' as my reminder option from any platform and to be able to alter the default reminder period from 30 minutes before to zero minutes before.
We're sorry for the inconvenience, we're working on this issue and selecting push notifications from any interface should be possible soon.
Thanks so much.
I wasn't complaining - just keen to know that it was being addressed!
Awesome apps - rememberthemilk is a think of the past for me!
This issue has now been fixed and you can choose "Mobile push notifications" from the reminder management box on the web-app.
