Why change the item for only 4 level Hierarchy

PG

hi

i have used the todoist for more than one years and paid for Premium.

i have found that the item in each project has only 4 level hierarchy now. i have some of more than 5 level which created before. And after edit, the hierarchy, has 5 level (for example) , has automatically changed to 4. it cause the original level relationship has changed.

What i just want:
1. should has some kinds of dashboard to show, what's new and what's removed for each release.
2. is that possible to add it for premium user. 4 level hierarchy is too limited to show the relationship in my experience .

Hello Peter,

The 4-level indentation for projects has been available for at least 2 years now. We're announcing changes and features on our Facebook, Google+ and Twitter channels (see links at the bottom of the Todoist homepage). Unfortunately, this change hasn't been announced there as it's been made before we've started to use these channels over a year ago.

Still, we appreciate your feedback and we always try to improve our service according to your suggestion and therefore, to understand your needs, we would greatly appreciate if you could explain how are you using our service so that another indent level for projects helps you organize your tasks.

Also, please note that tasks themselves can be intended as well and relationships between project can also be marked by using similar or the same colors for some of them.

Best regards,
David

Thanks David!

i can still find the prop like indent_5 (has 6 ...) in side the HTML code. And it help me a lot for create more deep levels hierarchy. I'm not sure its some kinds of "bug", but i like it~

some kinds of function used before.
%(b) % changed to !! !! for Bold text

should changed recently, but it do not show in public channel, like facebook. it's not big enhancement like HTML and backup/restore. but, it still big change for the people, who used the todoist for years, has experience that can't using Bold text and high light together but it could now.

i'm the people, who living deeply depend the todoist everyday. i though its some place that we can public some a litter bit enhancement but it change something we may need know about it. i'm not means that the backend structure, but some visible function.

Peter,

We haven't announced the text formatting change because the old formats are still supported by Todoist, but the new ones have been added to the documentation.

Nonetheless, we appreciate your feedback and we're going to provide more announcements in the future.

Best regards,
David
