Firefox Add-on: Can I move the Todoist window that opens to the right side (instead of the left)?

I am an avid Todoist user. I have just switched back to Firefox from Chrome and I would prefer that the Todoist Firefox add-on window open on the right side instead of the left. The New Task window actually falls off the left side of the screen a little, making it difficult to add new tasks.

Thanks!

Hello Adrienne,

unfortunately, that's not possible. Our Firefox add-on can only appear in its fixed position on the left side, but thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it and will consider adding an option to display it on any side in the future. You're welcome to add a request to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

As for the task adding issue, I can't reproduce this with the regular task input box (the one accessed through the "Add task" link from within a project) and the Quick Add input field only slightly hides on the left side if you minimize the plugin window. You can "grab" the right bar of the Todoist plugin window and expand it a little which should solve this issue.

Best regards,
David

David,

Thank you for the quick response. Making the plugin wider by dragging the right bar totally solved my problem and the Quick Add box is fully visible.

Thanks!

Note that if you install Vertical Tabs:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/vertical-tabs/

and set that to use tabs-on-right, then your Todoist pane will also appear on the right. This is the setup I use.

Staffers: you can probably steal something from that add-on…

I've got this problem for Thunderbird. Having it on the left makes it unusable - really wanted to use this but this prevents me from using it.

Opening TD on the left seems counter-intuitive for me, would be really nice to have it open on the right both in firefox and thunderbird.

Agreed! It opens on the left in Firefox and on the right on Outlook. I was so ready to fall in love with this app, but the switching sides will drive me nutso.
