Day@Time has a problem

LA

I'm on MESZ (Berlin time) and my calender software is the brand-new iCal version that came with Mountain Lion. When I enter a time on Todoist, the subscription to iCal enters it on iCal two hours earlier. My browser is Safari on Mac, all the newest versions. I'd like some help, please!

Hello Linda,

please tell me - does the timezone in Todoist Preferences, iCal preferences as well as your computer is the same in each?

Also, can you reproduce this issue with a different calendar software, for example - Google Calendar?

Best regards,
David

1) Where can I set preferences for Todoist when viewing it on my browser?

2) I can't answer that question because I refuse to use any other calendar than iCal (committed Macist).

Sorry, David - I found the preferences finally (your screen sizing is really wide at the moment, the little wheel is waaay far away from the rest of the material on the page.

Could it be that the algorithm behind "GMT+0200 Europe/Berlin" has a catch in it, causing all entries to be set back two hours?

Linda,

I will pass this issue to the developers, but it would be very helpful if you could confirm if you experience the same issue in Google Calendar. I'm not recommending this or any other software, but just adding your feed there to see if the issue persist and then removing it would be greatly appreciated and would help us very much just for the purpose of investigating this issue.

You can see how fast and easy this process would be in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzGubOy8GuE Unsubscribing from the feed can be done in 2 clicks by choosing "Settings" from the "My calendars" section and clicking on the unsubscribe link.

Best regards,
David

David,

I set up the Google calendar as instructed and must tell you that in Google the time is correctly "fed" (i.e. if I say 2 pm in todoist, Google shows me 2 pm; Apple still shows me 12 noon for the same event).

So the problem is apparently really connected to the new Apple iCal system. It would be fine to fix this! Thanks!

PS All the times are "Berlin time", which is what I'm on.

Hello Linda,

This issue should now be fixed. Please try to re-add your calendar feed to your calendar software and let us know if you continue to experience this issue.

Best regards,
David
