Can't log in on mobile app.

On desktop, I get two options on the log in page: 1) log in with google account, or 2) email/password. I use GOogle Account.

On my Iphone 4s, downloaded newest app and it asks for "email" and "password".

I put in my gmail email/password, but it's saying wrong password.

I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm using "google account" and that I don't have a separate todoist account email/password combo.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello Jason,

the mobile apps do indeed require having a separate password in Todoist. To set a password, simply log into Todoist through the web-app, go to Preferences (gear icon in top-right corner) -> Account and use the "Edit" link to set a password for your account.

Please note - you will still be able to log in using your Google Account to the full web-app, but the mobile site and mobile apps will require using the new password in combination with your GMail address.

Our upcoming official native app will support logging in directly through the Google Account.
