Todoist disappeared from Outlook. How do I get it back?
Once before that happened, and I clicked on "View" and then on todoist. But todoist isn't in the "View" drop down menu any more.
On your list of FAQs, I tried the I/E solution, tools, privacy, override cookie options, etc. But that didn't work.
please go to Outlook's Add-ins settings (in Outlook 2010, it should be in the Trust Center in Outlook 2007), click on the "Go" button next to the "COM Add-ins" drop-down menu and then check the box next to OutlookTodoist on the list of plugins that will appear after clicking on "Go".
Alternatively, if you're using Outlook 2010, the plugin can be toggled on and off using the "Todoist" button in the Add-ins tab at the top.
I have had the same problem and figured out the solution you described above on my own (in addition to the override cookies option). However, I still notice from time to time, the todoist check box in the add-in menu disappears. Sometimes it is after a computer restart, sometimes after an Outlook restart, etc.. Not too much consistent rhyme or reason.
Would there be any other things we could do to ensure that Outlook doesn't auto-disable this?
Given, this is an inconvienience, and not anything major, but it still seems that this should be an "always on" type feature that you shouldn't need to restart.
of course should our plugin be always on by default, we are aware of this issue, we're working on it and hope to fix this problem in future revisions. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This fix works fine in Outlook 2007. I am so impressed with Todoist.com that I've just upgraded to Premium which must have caused a wobble in Outlook. All working well now and this query thread was especially helpful.
