Tasks Not Sorting by Priority

U

Well it's been a couple of weeks, but here we go again. My tasks aren't sorted by priority again. Yeah, yeah I cleared my cache and cookies and all that. Just random sorting of tasks regardless of priority. And yes, I can resort them manually, but isn't that what this app is supposed to do? I'm using Chrome.

UPDATE: I see the pattern. Todoist just doesn't do math so good. The tasks are sorted this way:
Priority 1s
Priority 3s
Priority 2s
Priority 4s
Back to Grade 1 for Todoist!

Hello Mike,

please clarify - are you referring to the sorting in the 7 days view or within a project?

If within a project - can you resort them using the "p" key?

If on the 7 days view - did you manually change the position of any prioritized task?

Best regards,
David

Today, Overdue view. Pressing "p" does nothing.

Mike,

please tell me:
- Can you reproduce this issue in both the web-app and a Todoist plugin?
- Did you manually rearrange any tasks in the today, overdue view?

Best regards,
David

What's a Todoist plugin?
Yes, I manually sorted the tasks myself when clearing the cache and logging out and back in didn't work.

Mike,

manually resorted tasks will maintain their position which means if you've changed the position of priority 2 tasks below priority 3, they will indeed stay this way until you manually reorder them.

As for the plugin - Todoist offers a variety of plugins allowing you to quickly access your tasks. We have plugins for Firefox, Chrome, Todoist Anywhere for other browsers, Todoist for Outlook and for Thunderbird.

Best regards,
David

I only manually sorted them today because they app wasn't doing it right. The sorting was fine yesterday.

Mike,

so far, we can't reproduce this issue. If you experience it again, please try to remember if it occurred after performing any specific action, manually prioritizing a task on the today list, changing priorities, adding a due time etc. anything that could be used to reproduce this problem.

Best regards,
David
