Proxy / firewall issues

SG

Hi

I am a big fan of Todoist and nothing compares against this. I am so hooked to this that not having it accessible from work makes it a big pain.

I work for a bank and somehow your site got marked as online storage or something and is blocked from our work.

I am sure there are thousands of people like me who can't make todoist primary task manager because it is not accessible from work. ( I know we can use phones but that is limited)

So either see how it can be unblocked, or maybe a native windows app or if not, a chrome plugin that used a different port or IP address so that it does not get blocked from work computers.

Will be a big help if this can be done !!!

best regards
sunil

Hello Sunil,

we're sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. Have you asked your employer if they're blocking Todoist specifically or maybe Amazon Web Services (our host)?

Also, please tell me - what happens exactly if you go to todoist.com ? Do you see any error messages? Can you access Todoist through our current plugins or the mobile site http://todoist.com/m ?

We will soon publish our brand new native Android and iOS apps which will also be accessible offline anytime which could be a good workaround. You're welcome to participate in the upcoming beta. This is the error message that I get

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Access Denied (content_filter_denied)

RESTRICTED ! -- Your request was denied because of its content categorization: "Interactive Web Applications"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and no, the mobile version or the browser plugin version does not work either.

I have requested access to the beta versions of iOS. Hopefully that will make things easier

thanks
Sunil

Sunil,

we're sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about this issue right now. Using our upcoming mobile app might indeed be a solution. You will receive an email notification once the beta starts.

For now, you could use our current iOS app http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/todoist/id476672770?mt=8 which also can be accessed offline (after one initial online sync).

Best regards,
David
