Multi-day tasks? Recurring tasks for a limited time?

CS

Hi there,

I often have a tasks that must be repeated every day for, say, one week. The solution would be to have a recurring-task function with an end-date option. Does this option exist?
Alternatively, any chance we can enter a single task that spans over more than one day?
A workaround is to set a task with many sub-tasks, each for a different day, but I find this solution a bit cumbersome.

Thanks for your help

Claudio

Hello Claudio,

unfortunately, it's not possible to set an end date for a task, but we may consider adding such feature in future development. You're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/214/

For now, as a workaround, you can simply enter "every day" within the task's due date field to set a recurring task and once you complete the last instance of it, right-click on it and choose "Move to history" or "Delete" to remove it from the list.

Best regards,
David
