Postpone sometime moves overdue tasks to today, sometimes to tomorrow.

RD

Why is it sometimes today and sometimes tomorrow? This makes postponing difficult - I have to keep an eye on when the tasks get postponed to.

Hello Roman,

please post examples of the due dates you use in tasks that get postponed to today and tomorrow.

Also, please note that if a task is recurring, it will be postponed to its next occurrence, not the current day.

David

Hi David,

Thank you for your prompt reply!

I'll have to wait for some tasks to become overdue, and I'll keep an eye on which ones get postponed to today and which ones till tomorrow, along with their due dates.

Best,
Roman

Hi David,

So I noticed that if I postpone overdue tasks in the 'yesterday' section, which have a due date as yesterday's date, these get moved to tomorrow.

On the other hand, overdue tasks in the 'yesterday' section, with a due date which is 'every day', get moved to today.

It would be a lot more useful to me, if postponing tasks in this first category would move them to today, rather than tomorrow. Does that make sense?

Hello Roman,

this issue has not been fixed. Regardless of whether a task has a single or a recurring due date, it will be postponed to the next occurrence if it's overdue.

Best regards,
David
