How private is data please? where is it stored? where does it go? how is it prevented from being seen? (I like the software and internet systems! But, I do need to be careful about putting confidential client topics on it..) Good work on the system. Probably will buy premium. Thanks.

Perfect! Thanks! That alleviates my concerns. Some clients are super sensitive about guarding their competitive information for their business. Well done on the design of data housing, etc.!

Thanks. :-)

A follow up question. I too have a security concern.

I note the connection when using data is not https so there is no secure connection between the pc and your data store. Is this correct?

Also is the data stored on the servers encrypted and if so who holds the encryption keys?

Thanks

Hello Andrew,

your email/password data is encrypted when you log in regardless of your account status. Todoist Premium also allows further encryption after you log in.

Passwords are hashed/salted and all your data is being stored securely on one of the world's largest and trusted by major companies - Amazon Web Services hosting. You can read detailed information about AWS' security measurements here: http://aws.amazon.com/security/

Best regards,
David

Hello,

Do you see and know the email-adress of the sender if I add an email as a task?

Best regards
Ulrike
