Hello Jonathan,

please clarify:
- Does this issue only occur on the web-app or mobile apps or both?
- Can you reproduce this issue in more than 1 browser (if so - which ones have you tried)? Please try to add a new test task in a different browser and see if the issue persists.
- Does clearing the cache and offline storage solve this issue?

Best regards,
David

Hello Zubasty,

please tell me:
- Which browsers are you using?
- Does clearing the cache and offline storage solve this issue?

Best regards,
David

It's chrome, os x and windows. Clearing the cache does help but there's still something wrong: I've cleared the cache and storage and something seemed to sync correctly. But then I add several tasks on the first computer and cannot see them while working from the second one. It seems like maybe there's something wrong with sending new tasks/changes to the server.

Zubasty,

please make sure that the cache as well as offline and application data is cleared on all your machines and browsers (note - offline storage needs to be removed manually on Chrome in the Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data list as it will not be cleared along with the cache automatically).

Also, make sure you're accessing Todoist directly through the URL: https://todoist.com and that Chrome doesn't suggest a different URL or that you don't have a bookmark pointing elsewhere. Once you access it, you should see the current version number within the URL, which right now should be v=53

Please note that if you have Todoist opened in multiple browsers/computers at the same time, changes will not be reflected unless you reload the view (we will roll out a feature enabling auto-refresh in the future).

Best regards,
David

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I've entered via Internet Explorer and Chrome and retested but same result. The changes made (dates, etc) are not saved.

I'm not 100% sure what your other questions mean except to say I'm not on a mobile.

I have never experienced this problem before.

Regards

I'm having the same challenge, but just today. The daily list updates on my W7/Chrome, but not on my Mac/Firefox or iPad/Safari. This has only been an issue since this morning (2012-07-31).

Same here. This is very frustrating. New tasks are added, but all updates are not synced and saved at all. Experienced both at Chrome and Safari on different computers.

Hi

We can reproduce in this issue and are looking into it. Seems to be a caching issue.

Amir

Adding my experience today: Use two computers interchangebly, updates in a task on first computer not reflected after Todoist closed, then opened on second computer...but ARE saved when Todoist opened again on first computer....each computer now caches its own updates, but not updates to same task made on second computer...use Chrome for both...urgent issue, please advise....

Not yet - 17:28 2012-07-31. Or certainly not retroactively. My main computer reflects the changes today but not my portable or my iPad - that's after shutting down and restarting these devices.

Josef,

please try to log out of Todoist on all devices, clear all browser's cache and offline storage, reload the browsers and log back in.

Best regards,
David
