Can I check off a daily task from "Yesterday" and have it show up "Today"?

It's after midnight. There are still a few of my "daily" tasks that I need to take care of tonight (techically, "Yesterday" according to ToDoist)... but if I check them off now, they won't show up again until "tomorrow" - in other words, a day and a half from now, completely skipping "today". Is there ANY way to prevent this from happening?

I see two solutions:

- ToDoist automatically puts daily events on EVERY day, even if I check it off when it is technically yesterday's task, or....

- ToDoist gives me the ability to change what time it becomes "today" at....

Hello Bex,

unfortunately, it's not possible to set an every day task to "today" if it's overdue other than changing its due date (removing it then typing "every day" again).

We may consider changing this in the future, though and you're welcome to add a request to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/
