Hello,

please follow the steps below:

1. Log out of Todoist.
2. Clear your browser's cache.
3. Clear your browser's offline storage and application data
- this is stored in Advanced -> Network tab in Firefox and in
- Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data on Chrome
Furthermore, please make sure that todoist.com is NOT on the list of sites with blocked offline storage.
4. Restart your browser.
5. Go to todoist.com - type this address manually and make sure that the browser won't suggest and connect to a different URL and don't use any bookmarks.
6. Log in.

Best regards,
David

NO....did I buy the wrong product?? I don't think I should have to do all of this all the time just to see my to-do list.

Hi Bob,

Sorry to hear about that! Do you mean that your lists disappear all the time you use Todoist? Please give us a bit more detail about the issue.

Galina

WOW! I did not expect such a quick reply. Mega thanks!

I just installed and upgraded to Premium. And, yes, it keeps
disappearing. PLUS, when I go to the settings, I don't have the tabs you
show in your video to enter my settings.

Bob,

Your currently showing our settings menu within our Gmail Plugin. Are you saying its stuck there and you can't get back to your actual list?

Please show me your task list when its not showing, so I can see exactly what is happening.

The settings menu does appear to be broken, I will pass this along to the developer to fix. The full website version has the proper settings menu.

Brendon

Thanks very much Brendon. I am able to get back to my list from the
Settings. But, I don't get all the tabs as I guess you noticed.

I don't mean to be cracking wise, but I'm not sure how to show you
something that is "not showing". Basically, my Todoist disappears all the
time and I need to close and reopen Gmail to get it to show again.

Bob,

Well, you can have the entire panel where Todoist is shown go away, or you can have inside of the panel blank white, or you can have your task list shown, but no tasks. There are many variations :)

Not sure if this helps or not; please let me know. While it often
disappears on it's own, if I close out of it, I cannot find it again unless
I close/open Gmail.

Bob,

So that shows an empty today list. Do you have tasks due today and that is what you mean, that they aren't showing?

If you click the 3 lines it will open the side menu to access your projects and other views.

Also if you X it to re-open it, click the Add Todoist button when an email is open.

No sir. I actually haven't added any tasks yet as I first wanted to set my
settings which I cannot access.

Brendon,

Might you be able to tell me how to get Todoist to appear again when it
disappears without my needing to close and open Gmail?

Bob,

As I said, there is an Add Todoist button in the top menu when an email is open, clicking this will open the panel. Otherwise, it does require refreshing the page.

Dumb question, but I cannot seem to figure this out. If I want to set a
date for a reminder, what is the format for that? Example, let's say I
want a reminder for a task at 10:30 AM on 2-24-15. How would I enter that
please? I've tried a few ways but none of them work.

Hi Bob,

Unfortunately, it is not possible now to create reminders in these time frames. We will consider adding more options in the future.

For now, you can choose an option from the dropdown menu: from 0 min to 1 week before the task is due.

Thanks Galina,

Actually, that would be just as good but, what dropdown are you referring
to. The only one I see to use doesn't give me that option. Here's a
screen shot of what I see:

Hi Bob,

Sorry, I was wrong. When you are in Gmail plugin, you can actually set the time you want your reminder to come :) In the field where it says by default "today at 2 pm" type your own time, for example, as you mentioned above: February 24 at 10:30am.

In the regular web version you can set date and time as well as choose from default options (before task).

Sorry again for this confusion! I hope now you will be able to create a reminder :) Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Regards,
Galina
