Todoist for Mac not syncing w browser versions

Hi there. First, let me tell you how much I like the new stuff!

I am using Todoist for Mac (version Version 0.9.6). I made a bunch of changes in it this morning and then brought up todoist.com in Firefox (13.0.1) and in Safari (5.1.7 (7534.57.2)). None of the changes made in Todoist for Mac were synced to the internet browser versions… I went into the browser version on Firefox and made the same changes (all of them were changing multiple tasks to today's date). Didn't work there either. I am able to add tasks fine and able to make single date changes just fine too, Thanks

Looks like I have the same problem. All of my clients — iPhone, Mac OS X, Safari & Chrome on Mac OS X — are out of sync at the moment. I guess it has something to do with the recent move to HTML 5. I can't use my tasks anymore, what a disaster!

we're sorry for the inconvenience, we will look into the issue regarding the Todoist for Mac app.

As for the iOS app, please try to access Todoist through the mobile site: http://todoist.com/m and let us know if the issue persists there as well.

Hi David. The issue perists on all devices and browsers and the real issue is that due dates don't sync. No matter what I do dates are out of sync on all devices. If I sign out and sign back in, the dates revert to previous value. If I create a new task with empty date, save it, add a date, resync everything — the date doesn't go to any of the other devices or browsers. This started happening today.

I went to http://todoist.com/m and it's the dame. I have a task called "test" that has a date on my Chrome/Win 7 machine, but it doesn't have it on any other clients.

unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. I've just added a couple of tasks with and without dates on the web-app, both synced properly with the /m site and vice-versa - tasks added on the /m site synced with the web-app.

Can you reproduce this issue by following these steps:
1. Access the full Todoist web-app on your computer.
2. Go to a project/
3. Add two test-tasks - one with no due date, one with a date "today"
4. Go to the mobile /m site and use the sync button in the upper-left corner.

Do you see both tasks one with and one without a due date on the /m site?

If not, please tell me:
- Which mobile browser are you using?
- Does clearing your mobile browser's cache and offline storage solve this issue?

I am still having the problem with Todoist for Mac. I make changes to tasks (either existing ones OR new ones) and they do not sync to the web version (using Firefox or Safari)...

Am I the only person reporting a Todoist for Mac problem?

By the way. If I make the changes in Todoist for Mac and then close the app and re-open it none of the changes are saved and the tasks all revert to the web version. But if I make changes in Todoist for Mac and do not close the app but refresh the page the changes I made stay the way I changed them. Curious!!

For now, please try to access Todoist only through your browser.

Thanks David,

I'm having the same problem with the Todoist app for iphone as well (Like Dmitry). I wonder if this problem is only on old tasks (pre- new version of HTML)??
