Automatically update changes in Todoist in google calendar

M

Hello,

Once todoist is synced with google calendar, is there a way to have google calendar automatically update and show changes made in todoist? Currently, once I make changes in Todoist, the only way I can have google calendar show those changes is to delete the old link and paste a new one in.

Thanks

Hello Matt,

unfortunately, Google Calendar resynchronizes the calendar feeds once a day. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we don't have any influence on this as it's Google's setting.

You can use any other calendar software supporting the iCal standard and it will synchronize instantly.

Best regards,

Thank you for the prompt reply. Can you recommend any calendar program that 1) supports the iCal standard 2) is cloud-based and 3) has an iphone app?

Thanks

Matt,

pretty much any modern calendar software supports the iCal standard. You can even add Todoist's calendar to the native iPhone calendar.

Three follow up questions:

1) Once I go to Settings -> Mail Settings -> Add Account -> Other Account -> I have an option to add either CalDav Account or Subscribed Account. Which one of these should I use to sync Todoist with the iphone calendar.

2) Is there a way to directly copy or import the todoist iCal info, or do I have to type it in?

3) Going back to my last question, do you know any iCal calendar software that is both cloud based and has an iphone App?

Thanks Again.

Matt,

we can't recommend you any particular calendar software, feel free to check some apps out and choose the one that suits your needs :)

Please try to access the Todoist site through your mobile browser: http://todoist.com/m/forceRegular to get the iCal URL you can use to subscribe with.

Also, if you also have a Mac, you can add the feed to Mac's iCalendar and it should sync automatically with your iPhone.

Best regards,
David
