Sorting by priority and name does not work.

G

Hi,

It seems that sorting by priority and name does not work properly.

In the list of tasks in the project after clicking on the sort by "priority" or "name" is not ordered in teh right way.

If the screenshot is necessary please let me know.

Hello Greguar,

a screenshot would indeed be very helpful as I can't reproduce this issue so far. Please send it to david@doist.io

Best regards,

I have what appears to be the same problem: my lists don't sort by priority or name; only date (using Safari 5.0.6 on OS X 10.5.8).

Hello Cliff,

could you please send a screenshot to david@doist.io ?

Also, does this issue persist in a newly created test project with a couple of new test tasks with different names/priorities?

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

I can't remember if I ever sent the screen shots (I think I did, but I usually only have the time to deal with these follow-up issues when I'm on vacation, so here it is a year later, and I can't remember!). In case I didn't, I'll send new screen shots now.

I stumbled upon this thread, and wondered if this might be my issue too, especially since I'm an early user (May 2007) as well.

Hello Cliff,

Thank you for the screenshot. This is indeed not the correct sort order and we can't reproduce this issue under any circumstances, but as Amir mentioned in the other thread, this could indeed be an issue with very old account.

I will notify Amir about this and we'll see what we can do and hopefully correct the sort order on your account.

Best regards,
David

Just FYI: I just noticed that while sort order doesn't work within a project, it does seem to work under a custom view such as "3 days" (i.e. highest priority items are at the top; lowest at the bottom).

Hello Cliff,

This issue has now been fixed, please let us know if you can still reproduce it (you may need to log out and back in before you try it).

Best regards,
David
