how do y'all make money?

Seriously, what is your revenue model? I ask with all respect, because of the modern adage, "If you're not paying for it, you're not the customer, you're the product." Todoist looks like a great service, the privacy policy seems OK. But I don't want to commit all my schedule and priorities if there's a prospect that you'll be indexing my info and selling me to the highest bidder down the road. Thanks!

Hello Thomas,

I can assure you, we do not share any information stored on our servers with anyone. In fact, we have very strict privacy rules that prevent anyone from our team even from seeing it.

As for your question about our business model - we offer a Todoist Premium membership which allows you to access some advanced feature on our service. It's a paid option and our only source of revenue. You can find more details about it by clicking on the "Upgrade and get more done" link in the upper-right corner.

We've also developed a team-based project management tool https://wedoist.com which offers paid upgrade plans as well.

Best regards,
David

Thanks
Amresh
