Bug in marking completed actions

SD

Since the new release with the drag&drop, I've often been getting a spinning wheel when marking a completed task -- which never disappears and the task doesn't mark as done. Only refreshing the page resolves the wheel, but the task remains un-done.

Hello Shiri,

please tell me - what exact due date format are you using with such tasks?

Best regards,
David

Shiri,

unfortunately, such date format is not supported by Todoist.

To set up such task, please use the following date:

every mon, wed, fri, sat starting mon

Note - the task has to start at a day that occurs within its formula. For example, if you set it to "starting tomorrow" and Sunday is not mentioned in the due date, it won't work. If the "S" was supposed to be Sunday, though, then you don't need to add "starting tomorrow" at all as Todoist will automatically set the first date available which will be Sunday in such case.

Please refer to this help page: https://todoist.com/Help/timeInsert to see a list of all supported date formats as only those listed there can be used in Todoist.

Best regards,
David

Hmm, OK - it doesn't specifically mention that the first date has to be part of the recurrence. I actually was making use of this feature to set up tasks that needed to recur but the first occurrence was not part of the regular recurrence. But I guess that it worked only as an unintentional feature :-) thanks for explaining!
