Can't use control+arrow to jump from one word to another

AC

When adding a task, I can't use control+arrow to jump from one word to another. It's super annoying :(

I'm using Chrome browser.

Tks,

André

Hello Andre,

unfortunately, that's not possible because we use Ctrl+Arrow as a shortcut to indent tasks. This way you can create sub-tasks more easily without using the mouse.

Hi David,

Tks for the quick reply.
Are you sure this is the right call?
I mean, make a well known shortcut do something else?

Andre,

so far, this hasn't been a common issue because task names are usually short just to describe what you have to do and for detailed descriptions Todoist Premium members can use task notes where this shortcut doesn't work and you can add very long texts. Therefore, using Ctrl+Arrow is very rarely used to jump through a short task name.

Still, we're always open to any feedback and appreciate it as it helps us improve our software all the time and you're welcome to add a request to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

Best regards,

And congrats for this great system.

Going to add my discontent to this issue. I really like the ability to move items around with keyboard shortcuts, but when I'm typing the actual item text, it really throws me off when I try to use standard windows shortcuts and they move the items around in the list rather than the cursor in the textbox
