ToDois Outlook addin not working

PS

Outlook 2007
Windows 7 professional.

It was working, but it would not refresh. I could not find a refresh option. I rebooted Outlook and it did not load.

Appears in the Trust Center. Clicked on GO next to COM window, and plug in is checked. Unchecked, saved, rechecked, saved - no effect. Uninstalled plug in and reinstalled plug in but to now effect.
The AddTo ToDoist button appears on the toolbar, but nothing happens when I click on it.
I do also run Xobni, which still loads and works fine.

Hello Paul,

please try to uninstall the plugin through Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel (it should be listed as OutlookTodoist) and then reinstall it.

Also, you should be able to reload it by right clicking within the plugin window (but not on a task) and choosing "Refresh".

Best regards,
David

David,

Before I wrote you I un/reinstalled the plug in using the Control Panel. No change.

I don't understand the reference to "plugin window" There does not appear to be a place to right click. (I can send you a screen shot if you would like)

Paul,

are you the only user on your computer with full administrative rights? Did you install Xobni after or before you've installed the Todoist plugin? Do you have any other additional plugins in Outlook?

By "plugin window", I meant the actual pane on the right side with Todoist inside it. Once you can access it, you can reload the content this way (right-click -> Refresh).

Best regards,
David

Yes

No - before

Cozi Calendar.

OK. I understand. But that pane does not appear on my screen. Perhaps it is hidden in some way, but I don't think so. The only related screen element visible is the Todoist button on the tool bar.

Paul,

I'm very sorry, but I can't reproduce this issue. We're already working on a new revision of our plugin which should fix the issue causing our plugin to disappear.

For now, you could also try to deactivate other plugins like the Cozi Calendar, for example, make sure OutlookTodoist is listed only once and retry reinstalling it afterwards.

Also if you try to use the "Add to Todoist" button (or the check box next to it) as well as the check box in the Trust Center -> COM addins section, please try to press it only once and wait for a while. The second click should close it again and in some rare cases, it can take up to 30 seconds for the plugin to fully load.

Other that that, could you please also tell me if you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Outlook and Windows?

Best regards,
David
