i have the outlook plugin but the todoist button above all of my emails is missing now. how do i get it back?
I've already tried to reload the software but it says it's already loaded. Yesterday, I downloaded an AVERY thing to make labels and now that shows up there (which I don't want). I want my TODOIST BACK!!! I miss it! (Also, when i add an email to todoist and then move the email to another file, it will not let me open the task. is there any way to fix that?)
please go to the Add-ins options in Outlook (or Trust Center, depending on which version of Outlook you're using) and you'll find an overview of all installed plugins.
At the bottom of the Add-ins window, you should see a drop-down menu with "COM Add-ins" selected by default. Click on the "Go" button next to it and you'll access a list of your adding with check boxes next to them. Un-check Todoist, close Outlook, re-open Outlook and then check back Todoist.
If this doesn't help, please go to the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the plugin (it will be listed as OutlookTodoist). Then re-install it again and you should see the "Add to Todoist" button.
As for the issue with moving mails between folders, please tell me:
- Which version of Outlook are you using?
- Are you using an Exchange Server?
