How to have today and overdue items show up not by day (or have overdue items update date easily to current date)

Having items showing in the today overdue view by date is not clear. Is there anyway to ignore date in the view or alternatively to easily update all overdue items to todays date (either way would work).

Hello Andrew,

if you only want to see today's tasks, simply type "today" within the search box and it won't add overdue tasks to your list.

Note - you can set up the default view you'll see when accessing Todoist in the Preferences. Go to Todoist Preferences -> General Settings and in the "Start page" section, choose "custom query" from the drop down menu, then click "Edit", type "today" and save the changes. This will omit overdue tasks completely.

Alternatively, you can postpone multiple overdue tasks at once. To do so, press and hold the CTRL key and then start selecting multiple tasks by clicking on their names (while holding CTRL). Once you select the first task, you'll see a menu at the top with "Postpone" being one of the available options. This will push all selected tasks to their next occurrence.

Thanks - thats really helped. The CTRL option is what I want (to be able to change all actions to a specific date, en masse). Excellent!
